WELL,,, IF YOU ARE A CLASSMATE READING THIS, THEN THERE ARE ALREADY TWO MORE COMING TO NEXT YEARS CLASS REUNION THAT DIDN'T MAKE IT LAST TIME.... I SURE HOPE THAT THIS NUMBER WILL INCREASE NEXT YEAR... A LOT OF TIME HAS GONE BY FOR ALL OF US,,, AN I SURE WOULD LIKE TO SEE AS MANY OF US GET TOGETHER AS POSSIBLE.. OUR WORLD HAS CHANGED FOR ALL OF US. IT WOULD BE NICE TO SHARE FELLOWSHIP WITH THOSE FROM THE CLASS OF 64 FROM WHEN TIMES WERE NOT AS HARD AS WE THOUGHT THEY WERE, AND WHILE WE ALL ARE STILL ABLE TO GET AROUND EASILY... I SURE HOPE I NEVER GET AS OLD AS THE REST OF YOU!!!!!!!!

Update on the Pentagon. The section damaged on September 11 was officially reopened last week. The Department of defense was determined to have work completed within one year and made it with months to spare. It is amazing that what took over 2 years to renovate was totally reconstructed in a few months.
I wish our optimism and confidence could be restored equally fast. We will never again be so blissfully unaware of the potential for evil in the world.

Hi everyone, It has been awhile since I've checked in. I have officially retired from Rockwell, in Sep 2001. Not that I have anymore free time but it has been nice. My son Matt has 3 children and is now a Journeyman pipefitter/welder for Local 125. Daughter Amber works at Toyota Financial and is getting married in August. We camp as a family unit (6) from April 15/Oct 15 at a private campground near here. our 40th is just around the bend so stay in touch. Judy

I was not at the Pentagon when it was attacked, Tuesday. Today the undamaged parts of the building are open and thousands of people are trying to take up where they were before the blast. The latest estimate of deaths here is 190, including the 64 aboard the airliner. Police, fire, and FBI have taken over the south parking and the highway to the west. It appears that there are 1,000 or more there 24 hours a day. Employees were finally permitted to remove their cars, but transportation is a complete mess. Subway service was resumed but the bus station has been rerouted to a city street a few blocks away, really confused. All of the parking structures in the neighborhood are totally overwhelmed by thousands of Pentagon employees. We will not return to a semblance of normal activity for weeks, possibly months, and reconstruction of the damage is estimated to take two years. There is a different perspective, being so close. I can only imagine what New York must be like. The damage and loss of life there was hundreds of times greater.

I just logged on to the Web site and saw all the pictures. I have been corresponding via e-mail with Steve Scovel and Bob Ehlers. Bob e-mailed me the information on the Web Site. Great job, Alan, thanks for setting it up. Sorry I missed the 35th Reunion. Looks like everyone was having a great time. I will look forward to the 40th in 2004.

Hey! I do not think the second grade class pic is the same class? I can find Herby W. in the other but I thing his older brother is in the other one. Someone at the 35th reunion took a pic of Judy Crandall(the sixth) and I. we would like to see it, but not on-line. If possible check with Judy in Oelwien. I have played on here long enough notice my e-mail add has changed. later judy

Who helped Ehlers type his message? Does Dale Pelley still live with him? Are Scovel and Coleman sharing the same cell somewhere? These questions are asked through me by Bob Ohl.

ditto to steve scovel's comments. for me, the visit with steve and vance was great fun. if you visit with either of them, take care, their memories are shot. although this isn't necessarily a bad thing.

Bob Ehlers was recently in DC with his wife Deb (Elliot, OCHS 1966). Vance Coleman and I met him for lunch, which turned into a 5 hour story telling session as we caught up with 30 years of history. Now we are all excited about 2004 and the 40th reunion. See you there!
